Guangzhou Through A Foreigner's Eyes
On May 18, 2024, Spanish photographer Samuel Rodríguez inaugurated 万象广州: Guangzhou Through A Foreigner's Eyes in Guangzhou, China, offering a unique view of the city's daily life and culture. Organized with China Resources Land Guangzhou, it attracted key diplomatic, business, and cultural figures. The exhibition fostered cross-cultural dialogue, strengthening connections between local and international communities.
Casting Shadows: Cantonese-Spanish Artists Exchange Meeting
On June 1, 2024, Guangzhou hosted Casting Shadows: Cantonese-Spanish Artists Exchange Meeting, organized by the Guangzhou International Cooperation Center and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Southern China. Featuring works by Spanish photographer Samuel Rodríguez, Cantonese photographer Zhang Bendi, and renowned sculptor and director of Artists Association of China Xu Hongfei, the event highlighted artistic exchange as a bridge for bilateral relations. With around 80 guests, it served as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and cultural connection between Spain and China.
